
Chicken With Broad Beans, Peas & Basil

Ingredients
1 chicken breast
1 tbsp peas (fresh or frozen)
1 tbsp broad beans (fresh or frozen)
1 small handful of basil
How to make
Step 1
Cut the chicken into pieces and pan fry with a little olive oil until the chicken is cooked and the juices run clear
Step 2
Meanwhile, cook the peas and beans in a pan of simmering water until they are tender, then remove the tough skins from the broad beans
Step 3
Place all of the ingredients into a bowl with the basil. Use a fork to mash the ingredients together. Add a little water or full fat milk if the texture is too thick

For a smoother first weaning recipe, blend the mixture using a hand blender until the desired texture is reached.
