1 ripe avocado
A dash of lime juice (optional)
How to make
Peel, remove the stone and chop the avocado
In a bowl, blend to a smooth puree. This can be done with a fork, but a hand blender will give the smoothest texture (a food processor or blender can also be used)
Adding a tiny amount of lime juice when blending will help to prevent the puree from turning brown, but be careful not to add too much as you don’t want a sour taste
For an even smoother texture, push the puree through a fine sieve
