Our Plan O pillars
-
Ingredients
We source all our ingredients responsibly, from 100% organic ingredients in all our foods, certified by the Soil Association, the UK's largest certifier; and sustainably sourced 100% RSPO certified palm oil. -
Packaging
We make sure our food is safe for little ones by wrapping them in food safe packaging that’s BPA free, safety checked to minimise any risk of harm and robust for the journey from the shops to home.
-
Production
We only work with suppliers who are committed to making food with minimal environmental impact. All are signed up to SEDEX , a non profit organisation that empowers ethical and sustainable supply chains.
-
Energy
We transport with no excess space or shipping of air. 35% of our fleet runs on dual fuel and we monitor our emissions. Our office runs on wind power electricity and our warehouse has solar panels to save on CO2.
-
Waste
We say no to excess packaging and use recyclable and recycled board, nearly all of our board is FSC® certified. We never send food to landfill - it goes to charity, is processsed by our Anaerobic Digestion plant, or converted to animal feed.
-
Nature
We're always organic for many reasons, including the impact on nature. Organic farming means higher levels of animal welfare and more sustainable management of the land and nature, which means more wildlife.
